The center has a large indoor and outdoor space, including an activity and social hall and outdoor sports and activity space, with plenty of sunshine, allowing for morning exercises, dancing, and walking, beneficial for health and wellness.

Recent census surveys show that a growing number of immigrant senior citizens reside in the San Gabriel Valley. As a result, EMADHC’s staff will be bilingual to meet area’s diversified languages which include English, Spanish, Vietnamese and all dialects of Chinese. Prior to admission, all eligible participants will be given a comprehensive assessment and plan of care. Participants are encouraged to partake in a wide variety of activities designed to stimulate mental, physical and emotional satisfaction. EMADHC believes these activities promote a communal spirit that is vital towards one’s health and healing.

Eligibility: EMADHC is designed to help adults who require assistance in the maintenance of their healthcare by improving/maintaining their functional abilities. They may have specific needs in the areas of:

Personal Care Service
Physical Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Exercise, Cultural and Recreational Activities
Nutritional Snacks served daily
Hot Meal
Transportation to and from Center

Anyone who is Medi-Cal eligible will be provided free services based on physician’s approval. Those without Medi-Cal benefits can pay on a private pay fee based on a daily rate of services.
